I’m Laura Castro Ramírez, a UI/UX Designer, developer, interactive media creator, and amateur photographer passionate about crafting seamless digital experiences. With a background in law and design, I bring a unique analytical and creative approach to problem-solving—melding structured thinking with aesthetic intuition.

Currently pursuing an MFA in Interactive Media at the University of Miami, I specialize in designing intuitive, user-centered experiences that bridge digital and physical interactions. My work spans UX research, wireframing, prototyping, front-end development, and emerging technologies like VR and interactive storytelling.

My Work

VR Room

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with tech startups, local businesses, and creative teams to build engaging digital products. Whether developing a responsive website, prototyping a new app, or exploring immersive storytelling in VR, I focus on crafting meaningful interactions that blend aesthetics, accessibility, and functionality.

I'm also the founder of Litreal, a VR-powered platform redefining book clubs by creating immersive, interactive reading spaces. With Litreal, I explore how virtual reality can deepen engagement in literature and social experiences.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably running with my Husky, rock climbing, or experimenting in the kitchen or capturing moments through photography. I also love singing, playing the piano, and diving into new reads (I devoured 100+ books last year). Lately, I’ve been fine-tuning my company Litreal, exploring how tactile interactions can enhance digital storytelling.
